Patrick Lehrbach

Patrick is an experienced Agile Coach, trainer, and consultant with more than 20 years of professional experience across various roles including software developer, consultant, project manager, Product Owner, and Scrum Master. His career path led him into agility during a particularly challenging project, where traditional methods repeatedly failed under unclear requirements and shifting priorities. After introducing Scrum, his team experienced rapid gains in clarity, delivery speed, and collaboration, sparking Patrick’s passion for agile ways of working.

Since then, Patrick has coached teams and leadership groups at major organizations such as SAP, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, and Fuchs Lubricants Germany. His coaching engagements have included enabling scaled agile setups, facilitating leadership workshops, mentoring Product Owners and Scrum Masters, and fostering agile community practices across multiple teams and business areas.

In 2020, he founded Sparring Space GmbH, continuing his work as a strategic partner to organizations pursuing sustainable agile transformation. As a university lecturer at Hochschule Worms, he teaches agile transformation and change management, combining academic insight with real-world expertise.

Patrick holds multiple certifications including Certified Team Coach® (Scrum Alliance), Associate Certified Coach (ICF), ORSC™ Trained Coach, Certified LeSS Practitioner, and Certified Scrum Professional® for both Scrum Master and Product Owner paths. His work is grounded in systemic thinking, relational coaching, and a clear focus on delivering business value through empowered, high-performing teams.
